Abstract

Although the Semantic Web vision has spawned an entire academic discipline and considerable research and development effort is focused on the subject, the results are much less impressive in terms of actual applications. Bussler’s architectural analysis suggests why and that SWT is headed for a disaster unless there is a change of course.
