Advances in standards and testbeds for cognitive radio networks: Part II

This article describes three use cases that are of interest to telecommunications operators: future home networks, street coverage, and broadband access to rural and underserved premises. The authors also present results of modeling and experimental trials, and identify a number of technical and business challenges as well.
