Optimizing Wireless Signal Strength on Rowing Boat:A 3D Simulation Approach to Overcoming Human Occlusion

Published: 23 April 2024 Publication History

Abstract

Wireless communication devices are commonly used in rowing training assistance systems, but there is disconnection caused by human occlusion during use. In order to verify the impact of human occlusion and explore a more optimal deployment method, it has guiding significance in system applications to use mathematical and physical methods to simulate the attenuation of signal strength caused by human occlusion. This article selects the commonly used 2.4G communication frequency and simulates wireless signal transmission and multipath reflection on rowing boat under multi-person interference through 3D modeling and electromagnetic methods of bouncing rays. It calculates the field strength impact caused by human occlusion and provides design guidance for the deployment of communication hardware equipment on board through data statistical methods. It also provides a reference numerical calculation method for exploring wireless signal fading caused by object occlusion.
