Research and application of head-mounted virtual simulation system in electric power training

Published: 12 October 2024 Publication History

Abstract

With the continuous development of digital technology, virtual simulation system has been widely used in all walks of life, this paper is mainly aimed at its research and application in the electric power training industry. Firstly, this paper introduces the current development status of virtual simulation system and its practical value in electric power training. Secondly, it compares and analyzes five kinds of virtual simulation systems which are widely used, and compares the head-mounted simulation system with the best performance from the aspects of simulative sense, immersive experience and interactivity, and introduces HTC VIVE Pro and wireless accessories head-mounted equipment. Finally, combined with the current Hainan power grid power training mode, the head-worn virtual simulation system is integrated into the practical training platform for practical application, through the test of 50 times of the whole process courseware demonstration, the expert evaluation shows that the functional indicators can meet the actual training needs. This paper aims to further promote the development of digital intelligent power grid, improve the overall training effect and safety awareness of the electric power industry, and provide more convenient and fine interactive experience for electric power practitioners.
