Parameter analysis of lateral resistance of batten-plate steel lattice shear wall element

Published: 14 October 2022 Publication History

Abstract

To solve the problem of “leakage of beams and columns” in the traditional prefabricated steel structures, the “lattice idea” is introduced and a new type of batten-plate steel lattice shear wall (BSLSW) is proposed in this paper. This paper uses ABAQUS finite element software to analyze the influences of the column spacing, the depth of batten plate section, and the number of batten plates on the lateral bearing capacity of the basic unit of BSLSW. In a certain range, increasing the column spacing can significantly improve the lateral resistance of BLSW basic units, and 450mm-550mm is an appropriate choice; the lateral stiffness and ultimate bearing capacity of the structure are increased by increasing the section height of the plate, but the effect is not obvious; increasing the number of plates can ensure the cooperative work of the two columns, thus improving the lateral resistance of the structure significantly. By comprehensive comparison, the optimal number of plates is 6.
