Charge-Discharge Control Strategy System of Electric Vehicle Based on Bidirectional DC-DC Converter

Published: 30 May 2020 Publication History

Abstract

In view of energy crisis, environmental pollution, uncoordinated charging of electric vehicles(EVs) and peak-valley load of power grid, this paper studies the coordinated control strategy of distributed energy, energy storage and charging and discharging of EVs in dc micro-grid environment. EVs have a dual role when accessing the micro-grid: they can be regarded as loads when they are charging. Simultaneously, when electric automobile battery has sufficient power, it can input power to the micro-grid load. Firstly, this paper introduces the operating principle of the converter for charging and discharging of EVs. The converter is a critical component of the convergence and transmission of electrical energy in DC micro-grid, electric automobile and energy storage system. Secondly, the overall control strategy of chargedischarge system of electric automobile is put forward. Finally, the simulation outcomes show the practicability and availability of the charge-discharge control strategy.
