Application of Differential Evolution Algorithm in Equivalent System Fitting

Published: 25 March 2020 Publication History

Abstract

The equivalent system method is one of the important methods to evaluate the flight quality of an aircraft. The least squares method and the maximum likelihood method are widely used in the equivalent system fitting, but the initial value selection based on the least squares method is more complicated, the precision of the maximum likelihood method is lower, and the differential evolution algorithm can Avoid the complicated problem of initial value selection, and the differential evolution algorithm also has higher optimization ability. The differential evolution algorithm is applied to the equivalent system of a certain aircraft's transverse navigation system, and compared with the results of least squares method and maximum likelihood method. The results show that the differential evolution algorithm is applied to the equivalent system identification. Good results, and strong ability to find in the equivalent calculation.
