Research on Air Cargo Name Inquiry System
Pages 102 - 105
Abstract
This paper employs information technology to solve the problem of cargo name declaration during air transport safety. The cargo name database is developed based on various name databases and the Air Cargo Name Inquiry System is set up according to the developed database. The system can provide the information of cargo name, danger, transport documents, handling requirements and so on, which will effectively reduce the potential risk of air transport caused by uniformed cargo names. The system also can provide the companies and regulatory authorities involved in air transport with the statistical data, to support the management decisions.
