MDE as service, overview and research progress: student research abstract

Published: 04 April 2016 Publication History

Abstract

"MDE as Service" characterizes initiatives aiming at introducing resources for Model Driven Engineering (MDE) in target contexts. Examples of resources are models, metamodels, model transformations, etc. In order to promote the adoption of MDE, the literature states that it is important to analyze options for use in inter-organizational contexts, composing and adapting these resources for specific needs. This paper presents an overview of my experiences with such initiative and research progress towards collaborative approaches for MDE as Service.
