konashi: a physical computing toolkit for smartphones and tablets

Published: 19 November 2013 Publication History

Abstract

In recent years, it seems that the meaning of "computer" in our daily lives is shifting from desktops and notebooks to smartphones and tablets. With that in mind, we developed konashi as a physical computing toolkit tailored for smartphones and tablets. This paper presents an overview of konashi and gives a brief progress report on our recent workshops with using konashi.
