Instructional uses of demonstration disks

Abstract

Demonstration programs distributed by software publishers are an inexpensive source of software examples for student use. These programs can be used in a variety of computer classes and for a variety of assignments. They provide examples of different software types and of different approaches to interfaces and integration.
