Selection and evaluation of EDP equipment

Abstract

This article provides guidelines in the selection and evaluation of EDP equipment. The phases of the process are outlined and discussed. The importance of a systematic approach is underlined, and concrete steps in developing this systematic approach are given. The need for top management support and participation is stressed and justified.
