Summary
Improvements in efficiency and emission reduction form vital necessary targets of the sustainable energy systems of the future. Decentralized regenerative energy systems will experience a strong growing rate. An interconnection with the existing centralized energy systems is necessary for a reliable and predominant regenerative energy supply. Microgrids are especially suited to reach efficiency, peak load shaping, as well as to develop decentralized energy automation and control and blackout resistance in a short time.
