Abstract

Object oriented Design pattern provides an efficient, flexible and extensible way to structure and organize software component into system such that the system is robust, adaptable and have high degree of re-usability. It provides an innovative framework for making good software design which is highly reusable and hence efficient in terms of manpower and time investments. In this paper we have discussed about the different object oriented design patterns and how they can be used in various data structures. We use design pattern effectively by presenting various data structure in a programming environment in terms of class hierarchy using abstraction. So here we implemented the methods using programming language c and Java. In addition we have also shown the different examples of the patterns using their class diagram, for which we have used the software Rational Rose.
