Abstract

Using software ADAMS/CAR to build a precise model of a front suspension which is a double wishbone suspension of a new explored truck, and analyze the wheel positioning parameters along with the jump of the wheels. To solve the problem of reasonless trend of toe and camber angles, using ADAMS/INSIGHT to optimize some hard points of the front suspension. By comparing the wheel positioning parameters before and after optimization that the trend of the toe angle and the camber angle is improved and other parameters changing range is still meeting the requirement.
