Abstract

In this paper, we discuss how semantic technology is used in the EU IST project DAIDALOS II. We explain what is the original motivation of using it and explain various ways of its actual usage in the project. Based on the description we discuss experiences gained and lessons learned in terms of using semantic technology in pervasive service platforms.
