Abstract

The fast pace toward a digital-centered society requires new, more holistic strategies to model and lifecycle-manage sociotechnical systems and services under agnostic ecosystem provisioning. Despite the enormous multidisciplinary research to model an organization’s information technology landscapes. In this paper, we work further on previous consolidated research toward leveraging a digital and service-oriented technology transformation to underpin companies’ IT sovereignty. Our research challenges multi-layered systems’ responsibility modeling from the business domain to underly digital technologies formulations in intra-organization and Collaborative Networks. A core contribution of the paper is positioning the concept of Business System of Systems and the Business Service element as an IT-alignment strategy to map business modeling to informatics systems more integrally.
