Technologies and Innovation (CITI 2022)

Abstract

Collaborative work is increasingly essential in today’s virtual classrooms, especially with the use of technology that facilitates collaborative interaction in the educational system and improves the time teachers spend checking if students have done the assigned activity and measuring their participation. Through dynamic statistical graphs, a collaborative system is presented based on monitoring indicators and a set of rules related to keywords that allow determining student participation. The system was evaluated to measure its effectiveness in displaying participation indicators using the Recall and F-Measure precision metrics, obtaining encouraging results in terms of the performance of the collaborative activity monitoring system.
