Abstract
To answer the question: How could digital literacy (DL) have an impact on Environmental Scanning (ES), Business Intelligence (BI) and knowledge management (KM)? We have designed a model adapted from our previous research built on the commonality between the three fields of Big Data (BD), BI & KM and arguing in favor of their bridging to help managers make an informed strategic decision. Empirical studies carried out in the Tunisian context have shown the limits of the initial model confronted in particular with the problem of the lack of transversal skills in digital literacy within Tunisian organizations.
The improved model aims to go beyond this limit and push managers to consider the skills of DL as a critical success factor and the cement allowing better “urbanization” of the different blocks of the strategic information system.
