Abstract

A mathematical model of the human body in the form of an inverted three-link pendulum is developed that allows you to calculate the natural frequencies of the system’s oscillations, describes the increase in frequencies during the transition from a two-leg to a one-leg stand. As diagnostically significant parameters, the maximum oscillation amplitudes in two directions, the ratio of the oscillation amplitudes for a single-support and two-support strut, and the spectral density of the signal in certain frequency ranges corresponding to the main vibration frequencies of the body were identified. When transferring body weight to one of the feet with a double support, the center of mass is shifted somewhat posteriorly and asymmetrically for the left and right foot. Patterns of swing amplitude variation are not detected. With a single-leg stand, there is a significant (on average 2 times) increase in the swing amplitude, especially in the frontal plane, which is associated with a significant decrease in the area of the supporting surface in this direction. The model of body oscillation in the sagittal plane with a two-support and one-support strut is displayed in the system of second-order differential equations with respect to the angles of deviation of the links from the vertical. Stabilographic studies of body position showed that the type of the corresponding trajectories of the projection of the center of mass of the body, the amplitude of the oscillations in the planes and the average projection time of the study differ significantly among healthy subjects.
