Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Karthika Masam or Kartik Month is the most auspicious month among all twelve Hindu months. In this divine month of Kartik, Odia women and grandma, eat once a day as 'Habisa' and worship Lord Krishna under the holy Tulsi plant. They believe that praying to Lord during this month fetches them 'Moksha' (salvation).
