Deutsch: Der Wald als Lebensnerv Welschneudorfs wird im Wappen durch die grüne Feldfarbe und die silbernen Buchzweige dargestellt. Die Bogenteilung unter dem Schildhaupt symbolisiert mit den drei Bogen die Köhlerei und steht mit den drei darüber schwebenden Kreuzen für drei hier verunglückte Köhler. Gleichzeitig erinnert die Bogenteilung somit an den Zuzug der "Welschen", die dem Ort seinen Namen gaben. Weiter stehen die Bogen aber auch für die Aufschüttungen und Vertiefungen der Ringwälle, des Limes und der Wildgräben. Die drei roten Kreuze im silbernen Schildhaupt symbolisieren die kurtrierische Landesherrschaft, die alte ehemalige Kapelle und die neue Kirche " St. Johannes Baptist". Schließlich steht im Ortswappen der silberne, auf einem silbernen Buchenzweig sitzende Kuckuck im grünen Feld für den im Volksmund überlieferten Dorfnamen "Welschneudorfer Kuckucke".
