English: Coat of arms of the Danish town Aabenraa. Based on town seal known since 1421 which probably dates back to the 1380's. The three mackarels are a reference to fisheries which traditionally was the town's main source of income.
Dansk: Aabenraas byvåben. Baseret på bysegl kendt siden 1421, der sandsynligvis stammer fra 1380'erne. De tre makreller i våbnet er en reference til det fiskeri, der traditionelt var byens hovederhverv. |
