English: Eysturoy is the second largest island of the Faroe Islands. The name means "Eastern Island". Over 10,000 people live here on 284,4 km² in the places Eiði, Elduvík, Fuglafjørður, Funningsfjørður, Funningur, Gjógv, Glyvrar, Gøtugjógv, Hellurnar, Innan Glyvur, Kolbeinargjógv, Lambareiði, Lambi, Leirvík, Ljósá, Morskranes, Nes (Eysturoy), Norðragøta, Norðskáli, Oyndarfjørður, Oyrarbakki, Oyri, Rituvík, Runavík, Saltangará, Saltnes, Selatrað, Skálafjørður, Skáli, Skipanes, Strendur, Svínáir, Syðrugøta, Søldarfjørður, Toftir, Undir Gøtueiði, Æðuvík.
Français : Esturoy est la seconde plus grand île des Iles Feroe. Le nom de l'île signifiant l'île de l'est. Plus de 10 000 personnes y vivent sur 284,84km².
Nederlands: Esturoy is het op een na grootste eiland van de Faeröer. Letterlijk vertaald betekent de naam "Oostereiland". Er wonen meer dan tien duizend mensen op dit eiland.
