Vikavolt race
The Vikavolt race (Japanese: クワガノンレース Kuwagannon Race) is an animated series-exclusive competition that is held annually on Poni Island, Alola. It consists of a race using Vikavolt with VR armor and a camera and their Trainers viewing the Vikavolt's vision via VR goggles. They sometimes ride on a stationary bike, which is connected to the Vikavolt's movements. It was featured in A High-Speed Awakening! and hosted by Anna.
There appear to be multiple cups in which Trainers can compete, including the Fini Cup (Japanese: レヒレカップ Rehire Cup). Sophocles participated in the 34th annual edition of this cup.
Competition
The Vikavolt racecourse includes flying over land and rocky waters, through a forest and a cave, and over a beach. The winner is awarded with a Buginium Z.
