Route 208 (Japanese: 208ばんどうろ Route 208) is a route in central Sinnoh, connecting Hearthome City with Mount Coronet.
In the games
Route description
The route starts out from the west, by exiting Mount Coronet. It then makes its way east, to a series of bridges which pass over a chasm. These bridges facilitate travel in two directions: across to the other side of the chasm, or down to the river which flows underneath.
Crossing the bridge across the chasm will take travelers to a grassy meadow, to which the Berry Master's house is adjacent. This expert grower will hand out one random Berry daily. A tree at the southern end of the meadow can be covered in honey to attract wild Pokémon; the entrance to Hearthome City is further to the east.
The meandering Trainer will make their way down to the river which flows at the base of the mountain. A path, accessible with Rock Climb, can be traversed for a battle with a Hiker and a hidden IronDPBDSP or Star PiecePt. By surfing along the river and up a steep waterfall, a Carbos can be found.

Random Berries
Once per day, the Berry Master will randomly give the player one Berry. In Generation IV, this can be any of the first 30 Berries. In Generation VIII, some of the later Berries are replaced with rare Berries.

Trainer Tips!
After a Berry is planted, watch the
color of the soil.
If the soil is dark, it means it has
plenty of moisture.
If the soil is lighter in color,
water it with your Sprayduck.

Pokémon Adventures
Route 208 appeared in Boogying with Buneary, where Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum emerged on it from Mount Coronet after barely surviving Cyrus's attempt to bury them under a Rock Slide. At the entrance to Hearthome City, they encountered a Buneary, which accidentally hit Pearl in the face with its ear. Angered by this, Pearl then led the trio to chase after the Rabbit Pokémon as it fled into Hearthome City.
