History

Beedrill and Goh

In Working My Way Back to Mew!, Beedrill was part of a swarm in Vermilion Forest that attacked Goh when he caught a Kakuna. When most of the swarm was trapped by Pikachu's Electroweb, Goh caught the lone Beedrill that wasn't hit, assuming it was the strongest. After that, Goh kept it at the Cerise Laboratory.

In Raid Battle in The Ruins!, Goh used Beedrill to cross the Desert Resort. As they traversed, it got into a race with Ash's Dragonite. Later, it was used in a Raid Battle against a Golurk, but it was easily defeated.

In A Snow Day for Searching!, Goh used Beedrill, Scorbunny, Scyther, and several others to find a wild Cubone's lost bone.

In Panic in the Park!, Beedrill was the first of Goh's Pokémon to discover its food had been stolen, which made it extremely agitated, leading to frustration when Ash didn't understand why it was upset. Beedrill later assembled a group made up of Goh's other Bug-type Pokémon, which came into conflict with another faction led by Goh's Darmanitan. As the battle escalated, Scyther took control of the Bug-type group, but the infighting ended when Golurk lost control of itself, causing Cerise Park to become flooded. Beedrill joined the rest of the Pokémon in saving Goh's three Cascoon, allowing them to evolve into Dustox and clear the storm with Sunny Day.

In Big Brother to the Rescue!, Goh used Beedrill, along with other Pokémon in the park, to create a fountain so that Grimer and Froakie could live in Cerise Laboratory without dirtying the stream.

In This Could be the Start of Something Big!, Beedrill attended a surprise party hosted by the Lab members commemorating Goh and Ash's departure.

Personality and characteristics

Beedrill and Dragonite

Beedrill is extremely aggressive, even attacking its own Trainer and others. It is also very competitive, even sparking a brief rivalry with Ash's Dragonite as it and its Trainer crossed the Desert Resort. This rivalry is briefly seen again in The Good, The Bad, and The Lucky!, where Goh and Ash were in a new dispute with Beedrill and Dragonite crossing a desert again.

As of A Snow Day for Searching!, Beedrill appears to be fully involved with the rest of the Goh's team and more obedient to its Trainer's commands. When Goh's party found Cubone's missing bone, and also when they were introduced to its Trainer's family, Beedrill proudly presented itself as one of Goh's Pokémon.
