Tyler Dees (Republican Party) is a member of the Arkansas State Senate, representing District 35. He assumed office on January 9, 2023. His current term ends on January 11, 2027.
Dees (Republican Party) is running for re-election to the Arkansas State Senate to represent District 35. He declared candidacy for the 2026 election.
Biography
Tyler Dees lives in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.[1] Dees earned a B.S. in business management, an M.S. in leadership and ethics, and an M.B.A. from John Brown University in 2008, 2012, and 2013, respectively. His career experience includes working as the director of business development of Simmons Foods, a senior category advisor with Welch's, and a senior account manager with Sara Lee Food & Beverage. Dees has served on the board of directors of the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County, as the chairman of the board of directors of the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce, and on the business advisory board of John Brown University.[1][2]

|Dees, his wife Meagan (Elge) Dees and their three children make their home in Siloam Springs. A longtime Siloam Springs resident, Tyler played basketball and graduated from Siloam Springs High School. He went on to play basketball for the Golden Eagles at JBU, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management, an MS in Leadership and Ethics, and an MBA.
Dees serves as Director of Business Development for Simmons Foods. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Benton County, and was Chair of the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in 2020. In 2019, Dees was named to Talk Business 40 under 40.
Dees and his family attend Sager Creek Community Church in Siloam Springs, where he serves as a worship leader and is actively involved in men’s ministry. Dees also has several generations of family roots in Prairie Grove, where his father Kerwin Dees went to high school and later coached basketball.
A lifelong Republican, Dees is ready to take his conservative values, business acumen and passion for strong communities and families to represent district 35 in Little Rock. “The conservative values of our district are worth fighting for in Little Rock,” Dees said.
