Ruth Pickholz is an acting justice for the New York County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the 1st Judicial District of New York. She has served in this position since 1998 and on the New York City Criminal Court since 1991.[1][2]
Education
Pickholz received her J.D. degree from the Chicago Kent School of Law.[1]
Career
Pickholz worked as Counsel to the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety before becoming a judge. She was appointed to the New York City Criminal Court in 1991 and was reappointed in 2000 and 2010. Since 1998, she has served as an acting justice of the New York County Supreme Court.[1]
