Peter Abele (Republican Party) is a judge of the Ohio Fourth District Court of Appeals. He assumed office in 1991. His current term ends on February 8, 2027.
Abele (Nonpartisan, Republican Party) ran for re-election for judge of the Ohio Fourth District Court of Appeals. Abele won in the general election on November 3, 2020. He advanced from the Republican primary on April 28, 2020.
Education
Abele received his B.S. degree from Bowling Green State University in 1979 and his J.D. from the Capital University Law School in 1982.[1]
Career
Abele began his legal career in 1982 as an assistant prosecutor for Vinton County. He then served as a prosecutor for the City of Athens, Ohio, in 1985. From 1988 until he joined the Fourth District Court of Appeals in early 1991, Abele worked as a referee in the Athens County Common Pleas Court.[1]
