Sheri Pym is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She was appointed to this position on April 18, 2011, and her current term expired on April 17, 2019.[1]

Early life and education

Judge Pym earned her B.A. from Williams College in 1989, and her J.D. from UCLA Law in 1994.[2]

Career

Judge Pym started her career as an Associate at Milberg, Weiss, Bershad, Hynes & Lerach between 1994 and 2001. In 2002, she left to become an Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California. In 2006, she was promoted to Chief of the Riverside Branch Office. She remained at the U.S. Attorney's office until her judicial appointment in 2011.[2]
