LaRose (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Ohio. He lost in the Republican primary on March 19, 2024.
Biography
LaRose earned his B.S. in consumer affairs and business from Ohio State University in 2007. His professional experience includes working as a business manager and project lead for a consulting firm. He served in the United States Army from 1998 to 2007 and reached the rank of Sergeant First Class.[1]

George Rusiska was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Frank LaRose defeated Caleb Davenport in the Republican primary. LaRose defeated Rusiska in the general election.[2]

Senate Bill 5
In a February 18, 2011, interview with The Columbus Dispatch, LaRose voiced concerns about the controversial collective bargaining bill, stating that the bill should reform rather than eliminate public employee collective bargaining and should preserve binding arbitration.[6]
