Edwin Robson
Edwin Albert Robson (1905-1986) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Robson received a recess appointment from President Dwight Eisenhower on September 29, 1958, to a seat vacated by Winfred Knoch; nominated on January 17, 1959; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 29, 1959, and received his commission on April 30th. From 1970-1975, he served as the chief judge. He assumed senior status on April 16, 1975. He served the Northern District of Illinois until his death on October 21, 1986.[1]
