Daniel J. Sullivan (b. June 3, 1963) is a former Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 8 from 2016 to 2018. He previously represented state House District Hillsborough 42 from 2006 to 2016.

Biography

Sullivan earned his A.S. from the New Hampshire Technical Institute. When he served in the state House, his professional experience included working as a fire lieutenant for the Manchester Fire Department.

Incumbent Jeffrey Goley and incumbent Daniel Sullivan defeated incumbent Joseph Lachance and Mark Warden in the New Hampshire House of Representatives District Hillsborough 8 general election.[1][2]

Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Daniel Sullivan and Kendall A. Snow were unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Phillip Harris and Brandon D. Ross were unopposed in the Republican primary. Sullivan, Snow, Harris and Ross faced off in the general election.[5] Both Democrats, incumbent Sullivan and Snow, defeated the Republican challengers in the general election.[6]

Sullivan won re-election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Hillsborough 42. Sullivan was unopposed in the September 11 primary and won re-election in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[7][8]

On November 4, 2008, Sullivan was re-elected by finishing second in the Hillsborough 8 District of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, taking one of the six potential seats there. Sullivan (2,516) was second only to Jeffrey Goley (2,587). He was followed by Peter Ramsey (2,424), Sandra Reeves (2,348), Justin Gamache (1,787), and Karl Beisel (1,564).[11]
