Biography
Alexis Simmons earned a bachelor's degree from Washburn University and a graduate degree from American University. Her career experience includes working as a consultant. Simmons has been affiliated with the League of Women Voters-Shawnee County, Capital Area Democratic Women's Club, Kansas Chamber of Commerce, City of Topeka’s Human Relations Commission, and the International Public Policy Institute.[1]
