Antonio Munoz (Democratic Party) (also known as Tony) was a member of the Illinois State Senate, representing District 1. He assumed office in 1999. He left office on January 11, 2023.

Munoz (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois State Senate to represent District 1. He did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on June 28, 2022.

Munoz's professional experience includes working as a police officer in the Chicago Police Department, member of the Chicago Office of Budget and Management, and serving on the Chicago Licensing Commission dealing with liquor licenses.

Munoz served as State Senator for Illinois State Senate District 1 from 1999-2023.

Biography

Antonio Munoz was born on February 18, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the United States Army with the 82nd airborne division. Munoz is a retired police officer and was first elected to the Illinois General Assembly in 1999 to represent the 1st District.[1]
