Anthony Carpinello was a judge on the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division.[1] He was selected to this division in 1996.[2] He lost re-election to the Supreme Court in November of 2008 to Patrick J. McGrath[3] and his term ended on December 31, 2008.[4]
Education
Judge Carpinello attended Union College in Schenectady, New York for his Bachelors degree in 1970 and Albany Law School of Union University in Albany, New York for his J.D. in 1973.[1][2]
Career
Judge Carpinello began his career in 1974 as a partner of the firm now-called Hiscock & Barclay. He worked in this capacity until 1994, when he was elected to the New York Supreme Court, 3rd Judicial District. He took office in January of 1995. From 1993 -1994, he also worked as the Town Justice of East Greenbush.[1]
