I somehow persuaded the family to go the the National Print Museum in Dublin the last time we were down there. 恵比寿映像祭では、映像という言葉を限定的に用いるのではなく、映像をめぐる様々な選択肢に目をむけ、多様化する映像表現と映像受容の在り方を、あらためて問い直してきました。芸術と映像が人にもたらしうるオルタナティヴな価値観（ヴィジョンズ）の生成を促し、存続させていくためのプラットフォームとして、発信を続けています。毎回テーマをかかげ、「映像とは何か」という問いを投げかけながら、国内外の映像表現を紹介する歳月のなかで、映像を取り巻く状況は大きく変化し、映像を規定する枠組みやテクノロジーも多様化しています。 このような映像をめぐる社会状況の変化のなかで、引き続き「映像とは何か」という問いを深めていくために、恵比寿映像祭2025では、第2回を迎える「コミッション・プロジェクト」（3階展示室）で、選出された4名のファイナリストの新作を展示します。加えてテーマと結びついたいくつかの新たな試みを開始し、映像
