The new data engineering education leading to the Master of Science (Technology) degree will strengthen the University of Eastern Finland’s education in technology.

The donation supports AI research at the University of Eastern Finland and other Finnish universities.

Anna Mark Kayanda, MSc, revealed how the software development process combined with the research process can help to yield better software delivery for real-life problem-solving in Tanzania’s HEI context.

Awards were presented to the MoLeWe Research Collective, to Professor Markku Hauta-Kasari, Senior University Lecturer Lasse Heikkinen and University Lecturer Ville Nivalainen in recognition of their communication related to the university’s education in technology, to Professor Tomi Voutilainen, and to the Multidisciplinary Cancer Research Community, CANCER RC.

In next year, the University of Eastern Finland will participate in five projects in the internationally renowned Erasmus Mundus Master's programmes.

The lecture topics range from cultural studies, education and society to AI, environmental law, aerosols, atmosphere and neuroscience.

MSc Nancy Fazal's research represents a significant step forward in the content creation mechanism of any location-based game and sight-seeing applications as well. 

The programme integrates neuroscience, data science, innovation management, and social and legal studies across three UEF faculties.
