as a fan and just someone who pays attention to them, what joon said finally puts many things into perspective. bts always promoted as “authentic artists” but for a while now that narrative felt very hollow, since it already felt like they dont have any control over their sound and image for ages and I’m glad joon finally adressed this

Yep.... don't get me wrong, BE is a very good album but honestly I rarely listen to those songs. MOTS7 is a masterpiece. It also explains why it got released as MOTS7 instead of being split into Shadow and Ego as I suspect it was planned to be.
