Type “spacecraft (Q40218), astronomical object (Q6999), spaceflight (Q5916), remote sensing (Q199687), rocket (Q41291)”: item must contain property “instance of (P31), subclass of (P279)” with classes “spacecraft (Q40218), astronomical object (Q6999), spaceflight (Q5916), remote sensing (Q199687), rocket (Q41291)” or their subclasses (defined using subclass of (P279)). (Help)
Exceptions are possible as rare values may exist. Exceptions can be specified using exception to constraint (P2303). List of violations of this constraint: Database reports/Constraint violations/P522#Type Q40218, Q6999, Q5916, Q199687, Q41291, SPARQL
Value type “orbit (Q4130)”: This property should use items as value that contain property “subclass of (P279)”. On these, the value for subclass of (P279) should be an item that uses subclass of (P279) with value orbit (Q4130) (or a subclass thereof). (Help)

Proposal to remove "one-of" constraints
[edit]I'd like to propose the removal of property constraint (P2302)one-of constraint (Q21510859). As more and more space probes and other spacecraft are launched and described on WD, more variety of orbits are being used and are bound to be used than is reasonable to list in this constraint. Considering we have orbit (Q4130) as a value-type constraint class, I just don't see the need for individually constraining the use of various orbits.

- Some context: There are 80 different types of orbits listed in Wikidata at the moment, of these 23 are currently in use. It makes sense to mark the one-of constraint as deprecated for the reasons given by Huntster. Infrastruktur (talk) 17:08, 7 June 2023 (UTC)

- This has now been deprecated, seeing no dissent. — Huntster (t @ c) 01:13, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
