CLOCKSS, or Controlled LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), is a shared dark archive that runs on LOCKSS technology. CLOCKSS’s content is hosted on 12 servers around the world, at leading academic libraries, with robust infrastructure and security. CLOCKSS system has the permission to ingest, preserve, and serve this Archival Unit.

PORTICO

Portico provides libraries and publishers with reliable, cost-effective preservation of electronic resources, and contributes expertise and technical assistance to national libraries, ensuring that their content will be accessible to researchers, scholars, and students in the future. With Portico’s e-journal, e-books, and digital collections preservation services, libraries’ investments in e-resources are protected and publishers can count on their content remaining available in perpetuity.

Crossref

Crossref is an official Digital Object Identifier (DOI) Registration Agency of the International DOI Foundation. Crossref does not provide a database of fulltext scientific content. Rather, it facilitates the links between distributed content hosted at other sites. Crossref interlinks millions of items from a variety of content types, including journals, books, conference proceedings, working papers, technical reports, and data sets.

COPE

The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to define best practice in the ethics of scholarly publishing and to assist editors, publishers etc. to achieve this. COPE educates and support editors, publishers and those involved in publication ethics with the aim of moving the culture of publishing towards one where ethical practices become the norm, part of the publishing culture.
