A (mostly) unapologetic bigamist fan of two NHL teams, which fortunately never have anything to do with each other -- thus preventing really awkward moments at family functions. It's complicated. And (was) painful...until 2019. Dad - a Blues '67 fan - said: "Hey, we sent Bowman away. We sent Arbour away. Follow this team if you must, but keep an eye on Arbour's Islanders." Confused but knowing not to cross my father, I did both. Addiction set in early. I've rooted for every Sutter except Darryl. The Milbury years nearly ended me. But they also gave me some perspective on how to truly enjoy this sport, one knifing at a time. It took time and patience to rebuild the Blues half of my soul after Bill Laurie dropped one last pile of Paige (Sports!) on it. But all is well.
