There have been several innovations made to Galaxy Z Fold7 that set it apart from the Galaxy Z Fold series. First, the expansive displays both inside and out. The cover screen is now 6.5" corner to corner, while the main screen opens up an impressive 8" with a wider ratio that provides a more seamless multitasking experience.
And although the displays are larger, the phone itself has been slimmed down significantly to make it more portable than any Galaxy Z Fold before, both folded and unfolded. Unfolded, it measures 4.2 mm thick, and folded it is 8.9 mm thick, making it roughly 25% slimmer than Galaxy Z Fold6.
When folded, Galaxy Z Fold7's cover screen features a 21:9 aspect ratio, similar to that of bar-type premium smartphones. This improved aspect ratio gives you a convenient experience with more natural typing as well as enhancing your productivity.2,3,26
