Clinics

Since 2018, the Padres have been at the forefront of organizing free Play Ball Clinics for underserved children in Tijuana as well as in Mexico City. Our clinics have featured instruction from superstars such as Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado plus Mexican-born Padres such as Christian Villanueva and Tijuana’s own, Daniel Camarena. Notably, all participants receive complimentary shirt-jerseys, gloves, hats and equipment to facilitate their involvement in the clinics. Collaboration with Mexican officials adds a unique dimension to these clinics, fostering cross-border unity and promoting cultural exchange. Over 2,500 children have participated in our binational clinics, reaping the benefits of physical activity, teamwork, and a deeper sense of community.
