How accessible (to you) are these? What if squirrels simply never moved in to the boxes? Maybe because they had some other materials clogging them up?

You could pay someone to come by with a sledgehammer.

Maybe post signs calling a building meeting to discuss this unilateral change to your communal living environment. Perhaps others hate it as well.

I love my little cot. I’ve long had my eye on one by thermarest or helinox, but went with one similar to the FE active here:

Yes, Mo Nickels' cover is right, but the image also needs to be extended to the right to include the wrap to the underside. That added piece could be image extended, maybe duplicate Momus, or could just the be solid color.
(I left a white space to attempt to show what's happening, probably don't want any white, and the bottom isn't long enough, but....).

"I wear cotton or linen." two things about those fabrics: 1) they absorb moisture, and 2) they are often worn loose fitting. Both those things mean that my clothes feel sloppy when I get sweaty.

Maybe try some fabrics that don't feel different when they get wet, like polyester, dacron, nylon. And maybe try wearing some tight fitting clothes ( I realize there are lots of possible issues there: body image, work enviroment, etc).

Is this chess set for playing chess? Or is it for decoration on a coffee table?

If the former, do the players play lightning chess, or speed chess? If it’s for any kind of even remotely serious chess, the white pieces need to be white, and the black pieces need to be black. And the pawns need to be instantly definitively distinguishable from a bishop. And the king from a queen.

If the latter, then 1&4, or 2&3.

Local community colleges often offer classes to learn fiber optics. Maybe an instructor wants to pick up some extra cash moonlighting? Also private company classes.

Maybe watch for fiber optic install vans and ask if they want a side job?

A friend had tennis elbow for 10 years, finally scheduled a surgery. But that was a few months out, and had only a 50% success rate. Gave acupuncture a go, and that healed it. Now golfs, plays pickleball, opens wine bottles, etc.

Yeah, sharing a bed with a stranger is, imo, over the line.

I bought one of those lightweight camping cots for $79. Far better, for me, than an air mattress and gets out if the way during the day in seconds rather than minutes.

You might check that your test kits are not expired. There was that thing a couple of years ago that you can use expired tests, but those extended expiration dates have also expired by now. Here’s a gov site where you can use the serial number on your test kit to check:
