Yes, I believe it is. The music of the 60's and 70's is so different from today. You listen and get so caught up in a time where bands wrote, sang, played their own music. You can't help but let it become part of you. The Beatles, Clapton, Winwood, Joplin, Hendrix, The Doors, the list goes on and on. As the music becomes part of your life you imagine what it was like to actually be there. Woodstock, Hollywood Bowl, Ed Sullivan. You talk to people who grew up in that time and you begin to understand what it was like. In a sense you relive that time while listening. You picture yourself there. And then the alarm clock goes off and you start your new day. Then sometime soon you go back to it, the longing to have belonged to such a time. And that's when the nostalgia kicks in. "a wistful or excessively sentimental yearning for return to or of some past period or ...". So yes, it's not only possible, it is real. Peace!!!
