Return To The East and Weeping Blood (from their 1984 album From The Promised Land) are perfect songs with rainy or foggy november atmosphere. Same with the albums Heaven Up Here (Echo & the Bunnymen), Script Of The Bridge (The Chameleons) and Breaking The Silence (Opposition). It's impossible for me to listen these mentioned albums and songs when it's sunny.

This band was amazing, I really like all three of the LP's that they released before splitting up .

Good stuff. Good sound and I love the dub influences on many songs but the vocals are so-so. And if only I could find the lyrics for the first two albums.

I was lucky to see Play Dead on quite a number of occasions and can attest that live, they were awesome although also hit or miss. Some songs would blow your head off one night (Walk Away, Sacrosanct) and dissapoint the next, the best Play Dead gig I swa was at Notts Rock city, I cannot recall the dates but they were absolutely on form.

I love Play Dead. I love how they incorporated really funky bass lines into their work. If you guys dig them, you should also check out the late 80's Ohio band Grinning Plowman.

I'm surprised Pale Fire, Sacrosanct, or Judgment aren't higher up on this list. They're all great songs.

Propaganda is a great track too. I can definitely see why the Tenant is played most; it's so damn groovy!
