RIP to a legend. Saw CSN in concert about 10 years ago and, even into their seventies, they still put on a hell of a show. Crosby’s voice somehow never aged a day the whole time he was alive. The documentary Cameron Crowe did on him, David Crosby: Remember My Name, is fantastic; it gives a detailed, warts-and-all picture of one of the modern exemplars of “the road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom”. I found Crosby’s candour and self-awareness genuinely admirable; many of us could learn a lot from his willingness to admit his mistakes and faults. It was quite bittersweet to watch knowing that CSN(Y) will never work together again, but it’s a fitting capstone to Crosby’s legacy. If you haven’t seen it yet, I recommend doing so at the earliest opportunity.

Farewell David Crosby. Seeing CSN at Bluesfest (Byron Bay) a few years ago was a wonderful memory.

i'm glad i'm alive in a time when all these 50-year anniversaries are rolling around. it's such a joy to be able to discover these amazing albums and hear some of the sketches and songwriting sessions that helped shape them...i want it all!

Looks like David Crosby isn't exactly the most affable guy you'd want to spend your time with.

Good luck as Neil and David are enemies and Graham hates David. Like a soap opera. I'd take a Young and Crazy Horse tour please :)

CSN sound excellent with Neil Young! Difficult for me to decide which album is better, the first one when they were CSN or Déjà Vu. Both are fantastic records!

I agree that CSN and CSNY should be merged. I mean Neil was only with them for like 5 minutes in 1969-1970 and cashed in on subsequent arena tours.

They shouldn't be merged, their respective records were released under two different artist names and that's in the end what matters as far as that's concerned. Maybe they should've just thought of a proper band name rather than just listing all their last names and changing that everytime somebody joined or left... :p

Should their solo careers be merged too? What about Crosby & Nash? The Stills–Young Band?

4 way street is such a great album. I really like how they split it up with each guy doing their own songs. It really shows how much talent was in this group.
