I had the opportunity to listen to their album Suburban Light while traveling to New York, London, Paris, and Amsterdam. Their sound perfectly matched the atmosphere, making my experiences even more delightful.

I recently moved into an apartment right next to a church and on rainy days it's the perfect setting to listen to these guys

need them to come to toronto i would take out a second mortage for the chance to see them

If anyone's thinking of buying Suburban Light, it's worth at least getting the download from Merge. Remastering really brings out the strengths of this album.

If anyone's really suffering, the album and EP that Innes Phillips released with The Relict are available to download from itunes. A bit unfinished sounding, but very similar to The Clientele if not as good, also to Amor de Dias. Not sure why he left. Obviously a talented man.

They fairly recently posted oh sorry' tweeted' (on,er, twitter) a link to an interesting, funny and sad interview given when The Violet Hour finally came out. Really worth watching if you haven't already.
